I never liked coloring books. It was boring just coloring inside the lines, so I decided I would draw my own. At first they were less than recognizable. People were nothing more than bulbous body shapes with sticks for arms and legs. But over time, they began to take form. I began to observe how the human body is really shaped. But my study didn't truely begin untill I was 15 years old, when I discovered the wonderful world of anime.

One fateful day, my friend persuaded me to draw an anime character, a feat that I was convinced I would not be able to achieve. He would have none of that, and shoved a piece of paper in front of me for me to draw on. About 45 minutes later I had my first anime drawing done. I knew it wasn't perfect, but he told me it was better than his first anime drawings, and that gave me the inspiration I needed to move forward. Not long after that, I decided to take my first college Drawing class.

My college career has been a long one, but it has been full of amazing opportunities and experiences. I've had the privilege of enrolling in a variety of classes, including:

I will be receiving 2 Associates Degrees, one for Multimedia Art and one for Art History, in December 2018. After that, I plan to attend a 4 year university to study animation. My ultimate goal is to write and animate my own animated series.

Aside from the conventional artwork that I create, I also enjoy editing videos. In fact, it was the same friend who inspired me to do so. I mostly work with existing content, but through the video production classes I've taken, I have had the opportunity to use original footage. My favorite topic is music videos.

Last, but certainly not least, I want to share my love for creating and wearing cosplay. Guess who introduced me to that? Yup, it was the same friend again. If you are unfamiliar with the topic, please watch this short video I've made explaining it.
