Potato dishes
“Draniki” (stuffed or plain potato pancakes), which are usually served with sour cream, is one the most popular traditional dishes in Belarus. Another mouthwatering dish is “babka” (potato pudding), which is usually stuffed with meat and mushrooms and served with sour cream as well.
Soups
“Solyanka” is what can make you think of how many ingredients combined can taste so good. There are also traditional soups made from beets as a main ingredient, “Borsch” (serves hot) and “Chaladnik” (serves cold).
